Announcing: 2026 Skyview 8th Grade Party!!

We are excited for the 2026 Skyview 8th Grade Party, hosted by Skyview PTSA!

Here are the details:

  • Date: Thursday, June 4, 2026
  • Location: McMenamins Anderson School, Haynes Hall, in Downtown Bothell
  • Time: 6:00-9:00 p.m. - students will not be allowed to leave prior to 9:00 p.m.
  • Theme: Sweet Escape!

This party is a fabulous way for all Skyview 8th graders to celebrate the closing of their middle school years and kick start high school. 

Event Details

About this Event:
The Skyview 8th Grade Party will include great food, a DJ and other fun entertainment, photo booth opportunities, indoor and outdoor games such as corn hole, big Jenga, and more. It's a time for students to be with their Skyview 8th grade friends, play games, dance, eat together, take pictures, and make memories. Since most of the kids use a phone as their camera, phones are allowed at this event.

Attire:
The attire for the party is "feel your best", and all students have the freedom to decide what "feel your best" means to them. Some kids might be excited to get their first fancy dress or collared shirt, and others might be more comfortable choosing something out of their closet that makes them feel great.

Ticket pricing is as follows:

  • No longer available (through April 30): $50 per ticket
  • May 1-27, 2026: $60 per ticket
  • Tickets will NOT be available at the door, and must be purchased by May 27, 2026

**Full and partial scholarships are available for those in need. The above link includes all the information needed to request or donate a scholarship.**

We encourage you to sign the parent permission form, buy your student’s ticket (or request a scholarship), and help your 8th grader get excited to celebrate the closing of their middle school chapter. After registering for the event, you will receive a confirmation email. Please check your junk folder if you do not receive your confirmation.

Interested in Volunteering OR Donating Dessert for the Party?

The only way to enter this party (as an adult) is by volunteering. Skyview PTSA is planning a great event for all Skyview 8th graders and lots of parents and caregivers are needed to ensure this event is fun and safe. 

🍭 VOLUNTEER TO CHAPERONE 🍭

Chaperoning the 8th Grade Party is SUCH a great time. This is a very popular event, so sign up today! As a reminder, only volunteers will be allowed inside the event on June 4. And YES - you can definitely sign up for a first and second shift spot and stay the entire time. NOTE: Gentlemen, we could use at least a few male volunteers to help out (dance floor, exit areas, boys bathroom). If you’re willing, we’d love to have you join us.

All volunteers must have a current (as of the party date) Level 1 background check on file via NSD website. (*For background check, expand "School & District Volunteers" section - you will need a LEVEL 1 background check.)

🍭 DONATE CANDY 🍭

We need your help FILLING the Candy Bar dessert table at the 8th Grade Party! Party Committee Members visited Skyview three times over the past couple months to meet with 8th graders and answer their questions. The 8th graders voted on what kinds of candy they were most excited to see on their Candy Bar dessert table, and we are looking for your help to make that happen! The students are going to LOVE this table FULL of fun candies! We have included links to specific items in the signup, to make it easy to get what the students requested! *Plan to drop of candy donations at school on Wednesday, June 3, 7:45am-3pm!
