Thank you Food Pantry Volunteers & Donors! Did you know that our joint Food Pantry (with North Creek PTSA) serves around 40 families approximately every 2 weeks of the school year! So far this year, volunteers have collected food, removed expired items, sorted it, packaged it up, and delivered approximately 280 bags of food for  regular  food pantry deliveries . On top of the regular food pantry deliveries, there are  special deliveries.  Just before Thanksgiving break the food pantry delivered 45 full Thanksgiving meals (including turkeys). Emergency Preparedness Inventory Volunteers Needed!   Our PTSA E-Prep Chair needs your help to organize and inventory the e-prep (emergency preparedness) shed on Monday, January 27th (there is no school this day)!   The e-prep shed is where the school keeps the supplies that might be needed in the event of an emergency, such as an earthquake.   We will remove the storage bins from the shed and take them to the cafeteria so we can complete the inventory where it is warm and dry! One of the things Skyview PTSA is so proud to provide each year is our Gift to School program. This year that program includes two options: Grants & Certificated Staff Reimbursement. Gift to School Grants This program allows for any staff member or PTSA member to submit Gift to School Grant proposals (requests). Proposals must identify which (and approximately how many) students will benefit from the grant and demonstrate how the funds will be used. There are 4 EASY ways to help stock the Food Pantry: Schedule a porch pick up.  Food Pantry volunteers will pick up food from your porch.  Email food pantry  to schedule a pickup. Shop on Amazon!  Once ordered, the food will be delivered to the pantry for you.
