We are looking for candidates for our 2026-27 PTSA Executive Board!

President*
Vice President: Communications
Treasurer*
Secretary*

(*NOTE: President, Treasurer & Secretary are REQUIRED to have a PTSA)

Most of our current executive board members have reached the MAX term limit of 2 years. That means we NEED to find new volunteers to keep our PTSA going! Co-chairs are welcome and it's a WONDERFUL way to share the work -AND- make it more FUN!

• What are the different roles and what do they do? 
  • Executive position descriptions - President, Vice President, Treasurer & Secretary.
  • Responsibilities of ALL PTSA roles (still with CURRENT year info).

What does Skyview PTSA do? Why does Skyview PTSA matter?

• We HOST programs & events including: Food Pantry, Spelling Bee, Reflections Program, Community Night, end of year 8th Grade Party, SBA snacks for all students, Staff Appreciation events, PTSA Grant Program (purchasing items for school & classrooms, benefiting our students) and more.
• We also HELP the school with various things throughout the year like Eagle Day, finding volunteers for school events (health screenings, picture day, ASB socials), keeping emergency prep supplies current, and more.
• What does Skyview PTSA do?

All conversations are confidential and JUST conversions (no commitment).

How it works...

After we hit the Nominating Committee deadline (March 19),
our Nominating Committee will reach out to people to discuss interest and fit.
Once determined, they will share the slate of nominees for the executive board.
This slate will be voted on at the Membership Meeting on May 13.
Self-nominations from the floor of the meeting are also allowed.
The membership present at the meeting will vote to elect the board members.

NOTE:
Executive Committee (officer positions) are ELECTED by membership.
All other positions are appointed by the Executive Committee.
