1st meeting of the year usually includes some critical items, at this meeting we:

• Reviewed and approved:
  • mission statement & goals
  • standing rules
  • 2025 year end & monthly financials since prior membership meeting
  • 2025-26 budget
• Elected our two interim Co-VP, Communications: Kristen Wiley & Nicole Trimble 
• Elected our 2025-26 nominating committee, whose goal it is to find potential candidates for next year's PTSA executive board: Melissa Kline, Meera Venkatesan & Jessica Lewis

Parent/Caregiver Engagement

Principal Mehner arranged a GREAT panel of nine (9) high schoolers, who thoughtfully shared their ideas about how parents & caregivers can help their middle schoolers prepare for high school (and beyond).

PTSA Membership Drive & Drawing!

Our membership chair, Kortney McCathern, drew two (2) winners from all 2025-26 Skyview PTSA members during the Skyview PTSA Membership Meeting on Wednesday, October 15 at 7pm. Each winner received a $25 Starbucks Gift Card. Our winners are David Orr & Kim Reagan - congratulations!
